GOLDEN ROSE AGRO FARMS
Ethiopia’s first highland rose farm, Golden Rose Agro Farms Ltd. (GRAF), is proactively rooted in sustainable development and social corporate responsibility, consistently pioneering the Ethiopian floriculture industry since 1999.
This nontraditional Ethiopian sector has since grown to over 100 farms with 1,000 hectares of production, making Ethiopia Africa’s 2nd largest rose producing nation, generating over $100,000,000 in foreign currency annually and employing over 50,000 people. Golden Rose Agro Farms Ltd remains the most certified farm in Ethiopia, and has vertically integrated into propagation, farm inputs trading, and packaging material manufacturing. Its primary exports are direct sales to retail chains in Europe, Japan, Middle east and west Africa.
